The Global Talent Competitiveness Index for Adecco

This was a fantastic project that we filmed in London, San Francisco, Mexico City, Zurich and Mumbai.
Our team added the animations and all post production was completed in our London office. Adecco used it to open their conference at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The Global Talent Competitiveness Index is an annual study alanysing the world of work. The 2017 edition was focussed on Technology and Talent: Mastering the Future of Work. The goal of the video is to summarize the GTCI 2017 story, countries and cities. Previously they had created purely infographic animated videos but this year they wanted something with a little more emotional impact. They wanted to see and hear from the people affected by changes to the worldwide labour market so they sent us off on an amazing filming trip to meet some wonderful people who generously shared their time and perspectives with us. In order to introduce the W.E.F. Davos event with an engaging and emotional impact it was important to show the people talking to camera, so we could look into their eyes and understand their world view.
The integration of infographic animations with human stories, through short interviews with ‘workers/potential workers’ of different ages, cultures and origins made for a powerful video which was received well by the intended audience. It offered more than just a top level overview of the subject as we had time to delve into the lives of people behind the facts, figures and statistics.
Questions we asked included things like:
o Their expectations on the impact to technology on work
o How do they see their future
o Which country/city do they deem more competitive and why
The answers gave a global perspective on the future of industry and commerce and was shown to an audience of policy makers and business leaders. We were grateful to have been part of such an important project.
