Channel Nine Rebrand - Hero Ident

zspace are very proud to have been involved in the rebrand of the Nine Network and their affiliates. Launching Sunday September 26, the response to their branding has been extremely successful, swift and immediate.
The Nine rebrand focuses on a high end magical and experiential graphic treatment. Recapturing the decades of history for which Nine Network rated number one, the rebrand reflects Nine’s philosophy of continuing to be the centre of viewing entertainment. With the tag line “Welcome Home”, the new idents create a sense of warmth and familiarity. It welcomes viewers young and old back to historically Australia’s most popular television network.
Under the creative direction of the Nine Network team (headed by Creative Director Andrew Peace), Zspace storyboarded and executed the entire concept, including various idents, presentation package designs for VizRT implementation and promo packages. The turn around was a tight four weeks with all hands on deck at the zspace HQ. Using glassy 3D modeling, glossy lighting and slick texturing, the Nine Network logos now glow in epic proportions. Couple that with particle flair backgrounds which glisten with glamour, mystery, and dramatic suspense – and nine makes a winning splash across the nations screens.

The Nine Network’s new branding captures the essence of what the channel is all about, and zspace were fortunate to have been involved in creating art that is effective and right on target.
