For ZSPACE the Fox 8 brief was the best brief ever: there was none! “Do whatever you like to make Fox 8 standout,” the clients had said. We saw it as a great opportunity to try something fun. We used a method inspired by an experimental technique using an iPad, a camera and a 3D Fox 8 logo. The 3D logo was created as a virtual cat-scan that extruded through the iPad screen. Shooting in time-lapse in various environments specific to the timeslot categories of the channel, we filmed the iPad dragging through the air countless times to achieve the effect.
