TJ created this Ant and Gummy Tree to demonstrate our skills in complex organic environments and sophisticated translucent surfaces – the leaves, ants and dangling gummy bear fruit are all highly challenging materials to recreate and carefully light to create a convincing, lush, jungle environment. We were also interested to explore the world of the micro; the fine detail and motion of an Ant. The foreground is entirely Computer Generated set against a layered and defocused photographic plate.
