Our survey results reveal the most important marketing trends and opportunities for 2015.
Marketers are overwhelmed by disruption…often driven by more empowered and demanding customers.
In this world of new technologies and Big Data, customers expect a seamless experience across all channels.
However marketer’s tactics to address disruption remain very traditional. Only one third really chooses a new strategy. Omni-channeling can become a remedy to cope with disruption:
By offering products and services in an integrated and consistent channel approach, customers can start their buyer journey via one channel and continue via another channel.
Most marketers are believers, but only 22% is on track to become omni- channel.
But what is holding them back?
• Organizations are still built around products instead of the customer
• There is a limited integration of technology
• And it remains difficult to share customer data across the channels
But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Management support is no longer an obstacle
