Proviron has been creating chemical building blocks since 1977, and is present all over the world, in a wide variety of applications
In 2015, we announced our 8 business units:
Provifeed™ is one of our most innovative Business units. The use of antibiotics is strongly reduced by our feed ingredients, for broiler chickens, turkeys, piglets, shrimp and other animals.
2. In our Business unit Aquaculture we are growing microalgae for the cultivation of babyfish.
3. Proviplast® is specialised in the production of plasticizers...
4. And the Business Unit Proviplast®iX is producing plasticizers for polylactic acids and developed a qualitative blending method for the creation of biological plastics
5. Proviron is performing great with the Business Unit Provifrost®. We are globally known for the production of de-icers for airplanes and runways.
6. … And our Provichem® product range includes intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry.
7. Proviron offers a full range of services in contract manufacturing. This is done in our Business Unit Tolling.
8. The Commodities Business Unit includes the production of phthalic anhydrides.
Our overseas branches are performing strongly with an increased margin contribution
in both the United States and China.
And how did Proviron perform this year?
Due to a drop in feedstock prices and low biodiesel capacity load, turnover decreased to
€ 126 million

When we take a look at our Net current result the difference is almost negligible
But, if we take into account the extraordinary results of 2014, we see that we performed slightly better in 2015.
Proviron continues its ambitions in groundbreaking research and overall company growth.
