We were tasked with the conceptualisation and creation of the new title sequence for the show. The new title sequence plays on vivid imagery to not only convey the central themes of the show, but everyday Johannesburg business life in general, a world where money is made or lost and the difference between the two is clearly defined.
We developed the concept of juxtaposing images from typical Johannesburg life, between those who go for what they want and those who don’t, incorporating related aspects of the storyline to personalise the sequence. It was very important to the client that viewers instantly perceived the production and direction as of the highest international quality, a factor that lends itself to the immersion of viewers in the storyline.
