MASTERFUL LOERIE ANIMATION
A masterful animation of the Loerie bird was perhaps the best manner in which the Loeries could build an engaging platform to drive general public participation - after all animation made it possible for two of the squawking birds to debate the merits of advertising.
Based on a plasticine reference given by Tequila, we designed the two characters and gave them each their personality traits, one representing the common South African viewer, and the other the more refined and discerning viewer.
To create awareness among viewers that, in the following weeks, they would get the opportunity to vote for their favourite TV commercial we developed 5 commercials in which the 2 Loerie birds were introduced.
A further 4 commercials were created to create 'the call to vote' for their favourite television commercial. In addition, we also created a segment that will be unveiled at the Loerie event.
