To celebrate Mother's Day and promote the wide range of products available as special gifts, Edgars briefed The Jupiter Drawing Room JHB to create a 20 second commercial to communicate the link between three product ranges, (jewellery, knitwear and perfume) and show how each of these product ranges hold a deeper meaning relating to motherhood.
Each product range was unpacked or revealed using stop motion animation, onto which a type or illustrative treatment was revealed. By using simple and colourful illustrative elements, we are able to create visual cohesion with the live action element - a smiling and excited little girl - while communicating a childlike artistic approach, as if the little girl drew the illustrations herself.
