The Production of Edgars' Brands in Action
To promote the sportswear sale at Edgars, where shoppers get a massive 25% off all sportswear and sports shoes, Edgars briefed The Jupiter Drawing Room JHB to create a promotional commercial that would generate excitement of the sale within the target audience and ensure adoption of the call to action.
Production Studio Masters & Savant Worldwide were briefed to create the commercial.
"We received the brief and assessed the production direction. Due to the creative concept, it quickly became evident that a shoot would not be able to achieve the objective as it would require a large amount of post production would be required. It was therefore decided that it would be most effective and cost efficient to create the entire commercial using animation. Using this format we were able to create what would have been big budget effects (large sets, explosions and dangerous stunts)," Says M&SW MD Roger Smythe.
