Kingo, a pioneer in decentralized clean energy services for off-grid communities, is announcing that Leonardo DiCaprio has joined the company as an investor and member of its board of advisors. To introduce the company globally and announce the investment, Kingo partnered Ogilvy's Columbia & Guatemala offices to create a docu-style video highlight Kingo’s mission and future plans. The video shows how important it is for Kingo to provide clean energy to people who don’t have direct access to electricity, thus needing to use unsafe and expensive methods to have energy, like using kerosene and candles.
