スパイスは、“香辛料”という意味だけでなく、“趣き”や”情緒”といった意味もあります。
ベトナムの味や人々の息づかい、国柄、雰囲気を醸し出した映像で、一人の女性が、恋人の生まれた国「ベトナム」を体当たりで体験した時間を記録しています。
ハノイ ～ ホイアン ～ ホーチミンというベトナムを代表する都市を巡り、移動距離 約1,711 kmを旅します。
その土地での人々とのふれあい、不安や戸惑い、楽しさや寂しさなどを経験し、
少しずつ強くなりながら、新たな未来へと歩みだしていく姿を、買い物という視点を通して、共感できる映像となっています。

Vol.2 “Vietnamese Spice”

Spice does not only mean ingredients, but also stands for certain kinds of sentimental aspects of things.
This movie records how a woman experiences Vietnam herself, where her lover was born in.
The scenes include atmosphere and characteristics of the country, how Vietnamese food tastes, and how Vietnamese people live there.
She travels about 1,711km from Hanoi to Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh, all of which are representative Vietnamese cities.
As she goes through a period of feeling insecure, perplexed, joyful, lonely connecting with local people, she gets stronger little by little and moves forward to future.
Viewers can sympathize with her, through her eyes when she shops.
