作為一個海內外知名的佛教藝術家，夏荊山居士除了篤志佛學以及拜師學藝外，更是遊歷世界五大洲許多國家，其畫作展現了佛菩薩的圓融智慧和關懷。他的畫作技術上融合中西，刻畫入微，精神上更是體現了其對生命、社會的體悟。此影片透過夏居士的畫作，傳達出關懷社會之無私精神，且藉由夏荊山文化藝術基金會無私、有效地保存，將龐大的藝術資產代代相傳。
As a prominent Buddhism artist, Master Xia Jing Shan spent most of his time studying Buddhism and arts. He also traveled to many countries around the world. His paintings express Buddha’s divine wisdom and caring. His painting skills integrated those from the east and west. Spiritually, his paintings show his realization for life and the society. This film presents the selfishless spirit to care for the society in the paintings of Xia Jing Shan that have been selfishlessly and effectively preserved by Xia Jing Shan Arts and Culture Foundation in order to hand down the valuable arts assets to the generation to come.
