The two-runway system at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is near its full capacity. There is a pressing need for HKIA to develop into a three-runway system. Expanding HKIA will bring enormous economic benefits, create more jobs and bring significant new business opportunities to the city, maintaining Hong Kong’s aviation hub status and competitiveness.
