Expanding Hong Kong International Airport into a Three-runway System (3RS) is more than just building an additional runway. It includes the reclamation of land, building a new runway and passenger concourse, reconstructing the existing Terminal 2, building the new Automated People Mover system and the new baggage handling system, and more. The construction of 3RS takes eight years to build. The sooner we start the construction, the earlier we will be able to enjoy the new facilities of 3RS.
