The two new Speedcasts are similar in many respects - same line capacity, same gear ratio, same number of bearings, same drag power, but you also get the choice of a traditional front drag, or a front drag with Shimano's famous Baitrunner feature to allow a fish to swim off with a bait unhindered before striking.
