The space age-looking Casitas baitcaster is another new face on the 2016 Shimano baitcaster lineup. There are two reels in the range and it’s all about gear ratios. The Casitas 150 has a gear ratio of 6.3:1 and recovers 67 centimetres of line with each turn of the handle, while the 150HG (High Gear), steps up the pace with a gear ratio of 7.2:1 and briskly puts 76 centimetres of line back aboard.
