There are hawks that are born in Japan and spend the winters in Southeast Asia. They are called Sashiba or Grey-faced Buzzards. These birds, which are designated as vulnerable species, were being illegally killed in large numbers in the Philippines. When activists learned this shocking information, they came forward to protect the birds. Three years later, there was no more illegal shooting. We trace this miracle-like story in our video.
