This video explains how to descale your Philips 5000 series Full Automatic Espresso machine.
- This is indicated by the display showing START CALC CLEAN
- Only use Philips CA6700 solution to descale the machine
- The descaling procedure lasts circa 30 minutes
- The descaling procedure is finished when the tick appears on the display
- Press the OK button to exit the descaling cycle

Install a new AquaClean filter
- Unwrap the AquaClean filter CA6903 from its plastic
- Shake the AquaClean filter for 5 seconds
- Hold the filter upside down in a jug with cold water till no more air bubbles come out
- Install a newly prepared AquaClean filter
- Enter the menu and select AquaClean filter, select settings ON
- Dispence two cups of hot water
