When Philips needed somebody to lead the IoT revolution at Philips, Liat Ben-Zur answered the call. She knew very well, from her professional but even more from her personal experience, how important is to build engagement platforms for consumers and patients.
Being at the core of this monumental shift, leading an organization that is disrupting the world of healthcare on a global scale is – in her own words – “the opportunity of a lifetime”.
“I spent a lot of time thinking about user experiences and creating like the home of the future, the phone of the future. But I was never able to actually build those things in my previous role” Liat reveals “Philips was an opportunity for me to move from being a technology enabler working purely from the visionary side of things to actually executing products that would be in the hands of consumers. That was a really interesting next step for me”.
And Liat recognizes that Philips needs the doers of the world to help in the mission of revolutionizing health tech: “The kind of people that we need right now are people that have a hunger in their belly to make something happen.
