Boeing’s Constant Resolution Visual System, or CRVS, is a high-resolution, immersive training environment. The standard CRVS provides constant 20/40 visual acuity over the entire 360-degree field of view. That means more details are visible, translating to a more realistic flying experience. Tyndall Air Force Base is the first to install the high-resolution system on the F-22 Raptor simulator. Pilots training there are impressed at the image quality compared to older simulators.
