In 2012, Li Bin, a 20-year-old media writer, became a monk. His religious name is Wu Dan. A year later, he came across Dream of the Red Chamber, and found profound Zen culture in there. So he decided to reread the book, and write down his own understanding. He published two books on the interpretation of Dream of the Red Chamber, which are very popular. He told us that whenever his emotions bother him and he was confused, he would find the answer by reading Buddhist Scriptures and Dream of the Red Chamber.
