In 2016, Zhiwei and his wife quit their jobs as architects, and opened a nostalgia guesthouse with all their savings plus 600,000 borrowed from bank. The guesthouse contains 15,000 old objects collected in the past 3 years, including post-80s toys, textbooks from the Republican period and even a wall full of food ingredients. Each room has a theme. Many people who’ve lived there say they find their childhood.
