Shi Mengyao, a Chinese dancer from the northeast, grew up with her grandparents as her parents were divorced. She started taking photographs when she was 17 under her mother's influence. When she came home to her grandfather in 2010, it struck her that her dearest man was no longer young. So she took a picture together with him. And the story went on for 7 years.
