Acura has developed an anime series to usher in the return of Type S Performance that debuted at the Sundance Digital Film Festival. “Chiaki's Journey” chronicles the story of an aspiring female racer who's mentored by her uncle and clashes with a rival on the track. The 60s episodes live in acura.com/type-s and are set to music by Japanese all-female metal band, NEMOPHILA, featuring their track, "Raitei." Supported by OOH, the campaign builds a bridge to a pocket of pop culture that’s gaining traction in the mainstream and will extend to have a unique footprint at the Acura Long Beach Grand Prix.
