To launch the BBC’s coverage of the World Cup in Russia, we made a film that included over 600 unique embroidered frames: a feat never before attempted at this scale. The film features a special arrangement of Russian folk song Oche Chernye recorded at Abbey Road with an iconic performance from Sir John Tomlinson. The film aired at half-time of the FA Cup final.
