We recently had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most fascinating and talented teams when we made the ANWB television commercial (TVC). The production was a collaboration between Dutch, Belgium and Italian teams with one goal: to create a great commercial.
Even though the ANWB TVC looks seamless to a viewer, those who worked behind the scenes will tell you about the massive effort involved. For example, following months of preparation, we had three full days of shooting and three days of recce.
As a boutique service production company, ORBIS Production provided full production service support starting from location scouting, casting, logistics, high-end equipment, and film crews. We can do all this through collaboration with numerous other teams.
Working in collaboration as we did in the ANWB TVC is only possible because all the teams working together observe certain important principles.
An important principle is to ensure that no one is left behind. We ensure that everyone is on the same page through effective communication. This means that we never assume that people naturally know what they should do.
Despite our greatest intentions, we know things don't always go according to expectations. This is why we encourage our teams to be flexible and agile. We achieve this through the use of the many available collaboration tools.
