Dancing Days (16mm) - a short film written and directed by Derek Branscombe. It tells the story of an elderly man in critical condition as he fights for consciousness and to piece together the events leading up to his hospitalization.
Shot as my first year project in Concordia University's Film Production Program. The entire film was shot on the bolex and edited manually on the Steenbeck. The film seen here is a digital scan of the 16mm workprint that I was editing with.
Awards/Festivals: Chosen to be part of Concordia's end of the year screening, as well as the 'Best of the Fest' screening, a small finale to the festival composed of some of the best films produced throughout the year. Will be submitting some some other festivals for the beginning of 2012.
