Ten Toes Down. Stand tall. So they never question what you stood for.
For this project in partnership with the Agency Kitchen Table for Adidas, the challenge was to create something stylized and original, with a mix of 3D and 2D techniques resembling Hebru Brantley’s artwork.
From concept and storyboard to the final edit of the video, more than seventy artists worked to create an animation that translated the universe created by Hebru's art into 3D environments. One of the project's Directors, Gabriel Agustin, talked about how it was worth to be a part of this: "This project was a challenge for me as a professional - we had a lot of different techniques mixed into one piece, which was a lot of fun but also a lot of work. The result speaks for itself - it looks awesome, and we learned a lot!".
Hebru Brantley's artwork continues to enlighten his followers with the idea that the place they are, isn't where they need to stay, empowering them through fantastical fictions that shed light on Black individualism and expression. The campaign's message is that the world needs more heroes, and the union between Adidas and the artist represents that this person can be you.
The signature characters Frogboy and Rocket came to life at the hands of the team at Lightfarmand were globally exhibited on all of the project's platforms, reaching over a hundred thousand views in less than 24 hours from its launch — a massive success to Adidas, Hebru Brantley, and, of course, Lightfarm Studios.
