Can teenagers separate cheating from crime? Working on behalf of the Dutch police, we developed a mobile mystery game that lets teens experience the consequences of cybercrime. The interactive story unfolds through videos, DMs and group chats as if the player is navigating their own phone. Players are challenged to ‘help’ one of their classmates which leads them to the verge of breaking the law. We built a custom engine for branching storylines so that every choice players make will affect how their story ends. We co-created the story together with FCB and are responsible for the entire (video) production.
