For many, the new year starts within their own four walls. With the short art house film “Rotkohl” food delivery service Gorillas wants to bring a bit of curious comedy, and great deals, to its customers. Concepted and created by Media.Monks in Berlin, the film is developed in collaboration with director Bubi Spree.
In just under eight minutes, “Rotkohl” tells of the journey of a forgotten red cabbage, on a Berlin bus and experiences all kinds of interesting encounters during its night ride. Rod Kohl, protagonist of “Rotkohl” in the role of red cabbage says: “It is my honour to be the face in the film debut of to be allowed to be gorillas. As a winter vegetable, the role was made for me and the topic being left behind by shoppers in public transport is very relevant when it comes to food.”
