LOST ATLANTIS is a short film based on the artwork of David Mendez Alonso and animated by Dante Zaballa. We felt that by mixing their personal styles we could get a new style, even cooler. And we weren't mistaken. Adding David´s fresh style to Dante´s rhythm left us with a piece to remember. This production combined traditional animation (frame by frame) with an exceptional clean-up process: more than 1,200 images were drawn by Dante and hand-painted with acrylics by David. This tandem collaboration resulted in vibrant animation over a surreal plot where skiing fish, underwater tennis championships and waves of hooligans all coexist. A special thanks to the people of Reebok Spain who commissioned this short film celebrating the 25th Birthday of their ultra famous Ventilator shoes.
