Produced in tandem with an upcoming traveling exhibition at the Fotografiska Museums, this short film details the creative process of the acclaimed and prolific artist Frank Ockenfels III. Seeking to challenge notions of calculated and pristine mechanisms of creation, director Aiden Ulrich captures Ockenfels’ process, emphasizing his energized and uncalibrated working method. Considering more than the result, this film symbiotically demonstrates the act of creation is its own art form worthy of celebration.
