I CHOOSE THE HEART

“I choose the heart” explores the feeling of being a female creator in an industry run by men - the filmmaking industry. It explores the hardships one goes through when following her passion, no matter what.
The key ideas in this project are inspired by personal experiences, where a lot of people don’t trust you with a project or underestimate your abilities only because you’re a woman.
But being a creator means that you get to follow your own path despite the challenges. And I believe that any woman, anywhere can take on anything, even when faced with knock backs, because of the spirit of female independence and resilience. This is what it means to choose the heart.
