Today, Nov 2, is the second and final evening of ‘Dia de Los Muertos,’ our Mexican ritual communion with ancestors and loved ones who have passed away. Oraciones, velas, cempasuchil, pan de muertos, ofrendas, espíritu y familia. ⁣
This film is a meditation on grief, healing, and remembrance, a mirror to lived experience. There is no finality of death. The spiritual dimension, the nature of the afterlife…this constitutes the essence of the day’s ceremonial action - a reverence for life.⁣
