"Well Maybe" is a tune from my new TaughtMe album: "Am I Old?". Material for this video was mined from the Prelinger Archives, a massive collection of rare film clips which are free for public use. I combined footage of schizophrenic patients in the 40's with clips of stunt-men performing dangerous feats. I'm drawn to the contrast between the stuck-ness of the sufferers and the liberated zeal of the dare-devils.
A mentor of mine (a veteran bay area psychotherapist) once insisted that schizophrenics are the loneliest people alive. No less than once a month I recall that statement.
