Documenting the first year of a kitten's life for adam&eveDDB and Royal Canin.
Shooting in multiple breeders homes as well as a studio, we filmed kittens from a few days old up to 12 months. Arri Rental supplied us with an Isco Specimagine Long Distance Macro lens. This got us extreme close up shots of the kittens from a distance, but with a minimum stop of T32. We used a lensbaby to simulate the first days of their eyes opening and a Phantom Flex to try and slow them down as they got faster! We also had a Flir T660 thermal imaging camera to show the heat trace as very young kittens with their Mum.
