We shot this film in Shanghai and also in Yangshou, with a small crew and a Red Camera.
Our fixer in Shanghai, Dillon Xiang, did a great job, yet again, and actually appears in the film as Xang.
The American, Tom Carter, is a genuine photo- journalist living in Shanghai, so both characters were 'real' in their roles.
So far this has won the W3 and Lovies Awards. I suspect it will win more....
