MINI LED Door Projectors are available as an accessory. You can easily install them on your MINI equipped with entry door lights. The projectors have the MINI logo installed by default. For maximum go-cart feeling, the John Cooper Works logo is also included.
Let’s switch things up. To exchange the slide insert, remove the light panel by turning it a quarter anticlockwise. Take out the lens cluster, and pull it apart. Now you can replace the slide insert with another.
Watch, the “TOP” has to face up. Push the lens cluster back together and put it back into the door projector. Close it by twisting the light panel onto the opening. The lens can be rotated by 360° to adjust the image. Ready to install? First remove the original entry door lights. Use a screwdriver to remove them from the door, and unplug.
Please note: depending if the plug in your MINI points towards rear or front, the installation direction of the projector differs. Plug the new projector into the fitting door connector. And press the projector into place. Repeat this for the other doors.
