Sony designers used Sci-Fi prototyping to depict “Tokyo in 2050” in collaboration with science fiction writers.
This story is set in a future in which people who have lost their homes due to climate change or other reasons live at sea. The sea communities have come to be called “demistates,” and advisor companies have emerged to support them. Ichiu and Yori, who grew up in a sea city, leave their demistate and drift to Tokyo Bay. As they start a new life in Tokyo, Ichiu comes to learn the reason behind Yori’s personality change following his participation in the Service Exchange program, and....
