The Dark Sky Alqueva observatory, Portugal, and two lighting specialists are about to meet for the first time. Carlos Elvira, Head of Lighting Development at SEAT and Miguel Claro, astrophotographer, both spend many hours in the dark. One to picture constellations, the other to test lighting systems on the new SEAT Leon.
SEAT´s both specialities use a wraparound light in order not to distract from their main focus: the stars and the road. The all-new SEAT Leon headlights and rear lights are composed of a total of 340 LEDs that, when comparing to previous generations, offer maximum precision in the dark and improve safety while driving at night.
