For the latest collaboration, Louis Vuitton explores the uniquely creative world of renowned Italian artistic design atelier Fornasetti. Beginning with Nicolas Ghesquière’s Fall-Winter 2021 collection which integrates Fornasetti’s distinct visual universe into multiple designs, the collaboration uses a rich combination of color, textures, and traditional, cutting-edge techniques including jacquard, embroidery and laser printing, intertwining Fornasetti’s exquisite illustrations with Ghesquière’s strikingly contemporary design and forward-looking creativity and craft. Highlights include velvet dresses, oversized outerwear pieces that showcase the Maison’s savoir-faire, and a broad selection of Louis Vuitton products that draw on Fornasetti motifs, such as buildings, locks, keys, and portraits.
