This song in particular has biographical significance for Ola the artist, so we wanted to make a video that was both personal to him but one that could also be interpreted in different ways by the audience. We shot in Southend-On-Sea not long before lockdown, with all of the post-production executed over zoom with some very long nights with editor Blaine Pearson and colourist George Neave. The video is about finding light in moments of darkness, therefore the landscape for Ola’s journey needed to be desolate and depicted with a certain rawness.
