This being such a personal project for Kofi we wanted to tap into some of the autobiographical details that are mentioned in Rodney Place. We recreated scenes from Kofi’s childhood and placed his adult self in those same environments using a different visual palette as we jump between the two periods. Being a similar age to Kofi we had fun recreating scenes from school days, the dreariness of certain situations brought back lots of memories, particularly the props in his bedroom which inluded football miniatures and N64 cartridge games.
