Set in 1960s Hong Kong, the tragic romance captivates with forbidden love, Sergei Prokofiev’s thrilling iconic score, glamorous retro costumes and a rare fusion of kungfu and ballet.
With startlingly realistic art direction in Sheung Wan, The Peninsula Hong Kong’s Salisbury Room and FWD 1881 House, Romeo and Juliet’s unforgettable first encounter in an elegant ballroom, an intense fight among local food stalls and the heartbreaking finale authentically bring old Hong Kong to life.
