Concept design & Matte painting for Vodafone commercial for Time Based Arts, London
I was approached by Time Based Arts to design and produce a matte painting for the ‘house above the clouds’ scene on the Vodafone commercial 'Future To You' directed by Sebastian Strasser. The interior scenes for the sequence were shot at the Golstein house in LA which became the main inspiration for the exterior design of the house. The cloudscape and sky had to be hazy, backlit and magic hour-like matching the look of the previous shot beautifully crafted by Sheldon Gardner. As always, is so good working with Sheldon and James Allen at TBA.
