We are pleased to have been approached by Star Hub to create this beautiful New Year Ident and promo package, to celebrate the Year of Goat in Asia.
Our concept is based on the Chinese New Year greeting “三羊開泰” (San Yang Kai Tai), meaning ‘three goats lead a new dawn and bring good prospects’. We were inspired by the zoetrope's ability to animate images, and visually blended this idea with the ancient oriental element of a lantern. Using CG animation, we have brought this pre-film animation technique to life for the modern era.
