This is an excerpt from the animated MV that we did for Safeguard PH.
The project needed to be done in 3 weeks and as a result it became a massive collaborative effort between 5 studios: FilmPabrika (under director Joel Limchoc), New Zealand-based studio Cirkus, The Acid House, Riot and TeamApp.
We were tasked to work directly with Cirkus for the rap battle scenes: they made the CG character Fred d' Germ and sewer environment, while we did a rotoscope for rapper Gloc9. It was just supposed to be a simple roto, but we wanted to have fun with it XD
The smooth roto was done by our all-girl team Cherylee & Mica, the design assets by Elbert and the 2D FX by Ivan
