A artist’s mind is full of different elements, the way that transform those elements into an artwork just like make a cocktail.
The idea of the animation is to visualize William Kentridge’s words about how he thinks about artist’s creation. After deeply researching the artist, I understand his creation more like a process of “receiving and re-producing”. He receives a mass of message from the word, and let them float in his brain and chemically react with each other. After all, a great and unexpectable artwork happens.
Artists meet, accept and process massive elements every day, and they get inspired and use these elements to create something special and particularly would inspire audience. I symbolize this kind of artistic creation as making a cocktail.
