Biography
Raffaele Gabrielli, aka garpTwo, is an animator/illustrator.
He started his career in 2012, and since there he is experimenting in a lot of different creative fields.
Now he is having his Master in Animation at LCC and he is working as Freelancer.
He likes yellow, monsters and funny jokes.
Director statement
This experimental Animation is based on artwork and words of the British sculptor Phyllida Barlow.
I have tried to represent the creative process of the artist through her words and her own style, mixed with mine.
When I first heard her audio, I have seen her, taking her “crate” with all her “magic objects” on it, goes on an empty space, and start creating sculptures. And then I have imagined a lot of tiny people go there, and watch what she just created.
